ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 10 February 2010
WRITING RULES
1. The abstracts should be written in “Times New Roman” font 10 by using Microsoft Word ONLY IN ENGLISH.
2. Please arrange the text within the linens indicated on the form.
3. There should be no erasing, scrapings and corrections on the form.
4. In the event of using abbreviations, the full name should be written in parenthesis.
5. The signs and symbols, which do not exist on the keyboard, should be written with black-pen.
6. The title of the abstract and names/surnames of the authors should be written in capital letters.
7. No academic titles should be used within the names.
8. No more than 10 author names should be written for a study.
9. The names and addresses of the institutions of the authors should be stated.
10. Presentation author’ s name should be underlined.
11. The text of abstract should be written under the addresses by leaving a space of one line.
12. There should be no spaces between the paragraphs within the whole text; line spacing should be single and justified.
13. The objective of the study and the methods used should be briefly defined, the findings should be summarized
with adequate numerical details and the conclusion based on the findings presented should be stated. The abstract should be written using the subtitles objective, method, findings and conclusion.
14. Care should be taken as to using expressions such as “The results are not clear” or “the results will be presented during the meeting”.
15. The whole abstract should not exceed 250 words, excluding the title, name and surname of the author. The report abstracts, which are not in convenience with any one of the above requirements, will not be evaluated.
